Oil on canvas, 8 x 10 ins, floated in a frame.
Inspired by myth and the Asain asthectic, Nichola painted a study of an ancient breed of horse called Akhal-Teke in front of a famous Japanse screen (c. 1704 – c. 1709 collection of the Metropolitan Museum of Art) of waves to symbolise the God Neptune; God of horses.
The framed painting was orginally priced for £2250 at the Osborne Studio Gallery for their January 2023 exhibtion.
The painting has a final coat of varnish to protect the work for a life time.
Nichola welcomes people to come to her home near Bury St Edmunds to view the painting and she is happy to include shipment to a UK residence. Please contact Nichola for a quote for international shipping.
